Neon Bar Signs Burning Out

Whats interesting is that A Lot of people tend to think that their Neon Bar Signs operate the same as a Regular Light Bulb. They dont. The glass is actually Gas charged (filled with a gas) so there is no Traditional filament as in a regular light bulb...What does this mean??? It wont "burn out" :) The only way one would stop working is if there was a crack in the glass and the gas escaped OR if the base (the part that the neon glass plugs into) begees defective. If that is the case, if you notify your vendor they will replace it if under the initial warranty period or if out of the warranty period they will usually re-ship another base at near cost. If you have a Neon that stopped lighting up DO NOT THROW IT AWAY :) ...Probably just a base problem. If you have more than 1 neon sign simply plug it into the base of 1 that is working and it should fire right up. This will gefirm that it is in fact a base problem. The neons usually last Many Many years before having to replace a base and are a beautiful addition to home bars,billiard/ gamerooms and are pretty inexpensive. Great way to create a new feel to your established home bar, gameroom, or even a dorm or bedroom. Hope this info has helped.
