HELPFUL TIPS TO SELLING VINTAGE BOARD GAMES ON s

Here's a few tips on selling vintage board games for the most money on okay. First thing to do is a little research on your game(s). You can find many sites on the internet with very useful information as to the rarity of the game, the contents, and any other facts that may aid in your sales. Don't forget the okay guides and closed auctions for more useful information. After you determine the specifics on your game(s) you will be able to determine if yours is geplete, and how rare it is. You must determine if its geplete, you will definitely get more money if it is. The condition is very important and you must be honest and include condition of the box, gameboard, game pieces and even the instructions. Here are some helpful tips to prepare your games for sale. If the box has ink marks like pricing or names we find that hair spray or lighter fluid on a tissue or paper towel rubbed lightly will remove them with very minimal damage to the box. If the box is taped up we found that a hair dryer will remove tape without damaging the graphics. Its our opinion to leave them as is after cleaning and leave it up to the buyer if he wants to tape them back up. Its also important to list the game number and the copyright date as well. We found that its best to list your games with the lowest price possible. This way you can get a few collectors and interested buyers locked in and they will bid it up. We often take risks with our game listings and start them for well below what we have even paid for them and have had much success in doing so. Its also a good idea to get like items on at the same time to draw even more potential buyers to your listings. A final tip is to build up a collection of game pieces, dice, instructions, and any salvageable parts from ingeplete games or games not worth selling. This will give you a stockpile of parts to add to good selling games that are partially ingeplete. Thanks for reading hope the info is helpful. Good Luck at the auctions. DeeMarAuctions
