Planning a wedding? Check out this handy to do list!

Congratulations on your engagement!
Planning a wedding can be a stressful time.
So many decisions to make!
Cake flavors, whom to invite, who will be in your wedding party, DJ or Band?
Even trying to decide what under garments to wear on the big day can make you want to just elope!

Ive gepiled a list of things to do before the big day.
Print it out and refer to it from time to time.
Hopefully it will help you keep track of the many little details involved in making your wedding day the special day you've dreamed about for years!

Twelve Months Before The Big Day
__ Announce your engagement.
__ Choose a wedding date.
__ Sit down with your parents and get a rough number of people to invite.
__ Discuss with your fianc about the type of wedding you want. Plan a budget.
__ Visit a clergy person or judge to reserve ceremony site, ask about any specific guidelines that would apply such as music, decorations, etc. There might be pre-marriage classes to attend.
__ Reserve reception site and caterer and ask about any decorating guidelines.
__ Select and reserve your wedding professionals such as photographers, videographers, limos etc.
__ Start to look for your wedding gown.
__ Plan the color scheme for your wedding.
__ Choose your wedding attendants. Also think about asking people to hand out programs at the wedding ceremony, pass out bubbles after the ceremony, and any other little tasks that might require some help.

Nine Months Before The Wedding
__ Select and order your dress and accessories, such as jewelry, veil and shoes.
__ Make wedding day transportation arrangements.
__ Select and order attendants dresses and accessories.
__ Register with the bridal gift registries at your favorite stores.
__ Visit your local travel agent for your information honeymoon destinations.

Six Months Before The Wedding
__ Meet with the wedding professionals you have hired to go over details
