When you first get your data cable, you need to install the software first. Then hook up the USB cable to your geputer, now you connect it to your V3 Razr. Very important to do the FREE live updates. On the program goto menu, setup, then live updates. This will get you the latest version, that fix the little bugs. When you phone is connected to your geputer, you phone will have a picture on the screen. You all set, now you can download pictures, tones, phonebooks...etc.
You can also make/edit your own ringtones from any MP3 songs. Also make your phone works like a moderm and connect to the internet wireless thur your phone. You have to pay extra for this service.
